Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council, issued Council Resolution No. (2) of 2022 regarding the reorganisation of the home nursing service for bedridden in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The decision comes in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to raise the minimum number for beneficiaries of the home nursing service for bedridden patients to AED 17,500, in order to enhance the health status of patients and ensure their inclusion in their families, as the Social Services Department undertakes in accordance with the established procedures to provide home nursing service for the bedridden with no charge.
The decision will enable approximately 225 new cases to benefit from the home nursing service for the bedridden, with a financial increase of AED 54 million annually.
