His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, said on the occasion of Commemoration Day 2025 that every year on this national day we honour the memory of the homeland's martyrs who set an example through their lessons in protecting and defending their country. He affirmed that they sacrificed their precious souls for the elevation and defence of their society, proving that they deserve all loyalty and gratitude, and that sacrifice for the sake of the homeland is the most noble act to safeguard the land of our beloved country.
“The sacrifices made by the people of the UAE who rose to the ranks of martyrs will remain a cherished memory for all of us, reaffirming the importance of proper national education upon which the sons and daughters of the United Arab Emirates were raised, so that the march of our country continues with pride and progress, in line with the advancement of our wise leadership and the generous support and care it offers to its sons and the families of its martyrs
