His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued Emiri Decree No. (44) to replace the name of the Sharjah General Directorate of Civil Defence (SGDCD).
The Decree stipulates that the name "Sharjah General Directorate of Civil Defence" shall be replaced wherever it appears in the legislation and all administrative, financial, legal and other matters, with the following title: "Sharjah Civil Defence Authority."
