The Court of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, mourns the passing of Sheikh Sultan bin Khalid bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, who passed away on Monday, 30 Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 AH, corresponding to September 22, 2025.
The Court extends its deepest condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased, and to the entire Al Qasimi family, praying that God Almighty grant him mercy, accept him into Paradise, and bestow patience and comfort upon his loved ones during this time of sorrow.
Funeral prayers for the late Sheikh Sultan bin Khalid will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at King Faisal Mosque in Sharjah. He will be laid to rest at Al Jubail Cemetery following the prayer.
Condolences for men will be received at the Majlis of Sheikh Faisal bin Khalid bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, located in the Al Ramla area of Sharjah, starting Tuesday and continuing for three days.
An official mourning period of three days has been declared, beginning Tuesday, during which flags will be flown at half-mast across the Emirate.
