He will be sorely missed, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah said in mourning the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who passed away Friday morning, May 13, 2022.
"May his soul rest in peace; he contributed to the development of society and the provision of a decent life in all its forms for citizens. He sponsored and supported education, health, culture, and the economy in all UAE cities and regions, and his philanthropy continued to reach all of the world's needy nations.
May God forgive our father, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, position him in the highest ranks of Paradise, bless him with his kindness, and bring patience and consolation to the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates, as well as the Arab and Islamic peoples."
