The second edition of Sharjah Events Festival will kick off tomorrow (Thursday), which will extend over four days, from 8 to 11 December, at Al Majaz Amphitheatre in the heart of the picturesqueKhalid Lagoon in Sharjah. The festival combines several games and sports, music, singing and traditional and popular activities.

This year, the Sharjah Events Festival will feature a wide variety of fun, entertainment and interactive activities, including musical  shows, juggling games, balancing chairs, quick fashion shows, and the incredible skills of police dogs. The festival will see the spirit of competition too with the ‘Play and Win’ section.

On its third day, the public will have a date with the "Tariqan" family (Tariq Al Arabi and Sons), who will revive childhood memories by presenting a host of songs from the most famous cartoon series that was shown on the youth channel "Spacetoon".

More than 30 government and private institutions and organisations from across the emirate are participating in this year’s festival, through interactive platforms, entertainment and educational activities in various fields.

The festival features a number of artistic, creative, sports and heritage events, as well as free workshops on diverse topics such as arts, entrepreneurship, learning difficulties and music therapy among others for the benefit of festival visitors.
