Allay: The forum aims to make Sharjah a unified government communication portal

 

Under the slogan "Towards Effective Communication", the Sharjah Contact Centre of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau is holding the first Sharjah Contact Centres Forum on February 17 at the Oceanic Khorfakkan, to highlight the reality of contact centres and client service in both the government and private sectors in Sharjah and the entire UAE.

 

Through its various sessions, addresses and workshops, the Forum will discuss ways to improve client service in keeping pace with the public’s aspirations and expectations in light of economic, social, technical and administrative changes. It will spotlight key developments in customer service excellence, together with success stories in the field.

 

His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay, Director of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, said: "The Forum aims to develop Sharjah’s prospects by supporting digital transformation in the Emirate through the introduction of a unified toll-free number for all government services. It further seeks to create the right environment for testing new contact centre technologies and make Sharjah a major hub for support services in the MENA region. It looks to facilitate the exchange of expertise in data analysis and identify client orientations and needs, while making Sharjah a unified and comprehensive government communication portal."

 

The event is targeted at government officials, researchers and everyone interested in the development of call centres and client service, together with data analysis experts, technical institutions, research centres, communication professionals, HR staff, client service employees and client relationship management institutions.

 

It is worth noting that the Sharjah Contact Centres Forum is a meeting point for various contact centres of Sharjah Government. It looks to achieve the leadership’s objectives of investing in manpower, Emiratisation and attracting qualified cadres. It highlights the significant role of Sharjah Contact Centre in meeting the needs of Sharjah government entities by providing its services around the clock.
