Organised within Sharjah National Day festivities, the event offered the audience an opportunity to reflect on the nation’s journey and the values that have guided it since its unification. Families and visitors from across the city joined the celebration in a warm and inclusive setting.

Hussain Al Jassmi, who has long been a favourite on national occasions, described performing in Khorfakkan on such a day “always feels special.” He said that taking part in the National Day programme was a privilege for any artist, noting the strong connection he sensed with the audience.

Al Jassmi performed a selection of his most popular songs, including songs connected to the East Coast and others often heard during national occasions.

 His performance featured “Ahwak Lil Mout” (Love You to Death), “Hami Al Dar” (Protector of the Homeland), “Ya Taj” (The Crown), “Bahr Al Shouq” (Sea of Longing), “Qasid” (With Intention), “Baligh Habibak” (Tell Your Beloved), “Al Shaki” (The Complainer), “Raa’ak Allah” (May God Protect You), “Al Jabal” (The Mountain), “Al Gharqan” (Drowning), “Hitta Min Albi” (A Piece of My Heart), “Bel Bont Al Areed” (In Bold), “Faqadtak” (I Lost You), “ Ama Barawa” (Bravo), and “Bahebak Wehastini” (I Love You, I Miss You), with the crowd singing along throughout the evening.


Fouad Abdulwahed followed with a performance that showcased a mix of his well-known hits and newer releases, drawing consistent engagement from attendees throughout his set.

 The renowned artist said performing at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre during National Day was a source of pride, adding that the UAE’s unity and welcoming spirit make every national celebration memorable.

Among the highlights were “Malyoon Marrah” (A Million Times), “Khiyalat Al Qisas” (Stories of Imagination), “Ghusn Al Qana” (The Tall Graceful Branch), “Asmar Aabar,” “Awsafak Ajab” (Your Qualities Are Remarkable), “Kil Ahibbak” (I Love You Always), “Ta’allam” (Learn), “Al Oyoun Al Soud” (Black Eyes), “Allah Jabak” (God Brought You), “Dhaq Al Ghamam” (When Times Get Tough), “Ana Sawtak” (I Am Your Voice), “Sammara” (Brown Beauty), “Mahtaar / Ya Al-Baeed” (Confused, Oh You Who Are Far), “Layla” (One Night), and “Ya Dar” (Oh Home).

This concert was one of the events of the “Let’s Khorfakkan” season, which continues to bring prominent Arab artists to the Amphitheatre’s open-air stage. The programme aims to contribute to Sharjah’s cultural initiatives and offer audiences a varied schedule of performances throughout the season.
