At the beginning of the meeting, Khalid Jassim Al Midfa thanked Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, for his direct interest and unlimited support to the Committee for organising this event, which reflects the values of loyalty, belonging and pride in the UAE fifty years of achievements and the country’s wise leadership.
Al Midfa stressed that the celebrations will include all the cities of the emirate, during which many national events and musical evenings will be held, instilling the meanings of patriotism and loyalty in the hearts of citizens and residents of the UAE, pointing out that cooperation with various government and private agencies and institutions is one of the foundations for the success of the celebrations.
It is worth noting that the committee will hold a general coordination meeting, in the presence of all its members and representatives of municipal councils from various cities of the emirate, to develop a programme for the celebrations.

The Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee held a meeting chaired by Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Committee, to discuss the National Day activities, which will start on November 29 and run until December 3 over a period of 5 days.
