His Highness examined the laboratories and their cutting-edge, specialised equipment for physiotherapy assessments, spinal health, and the application of technology to enhance nursing skills.  This initiative aims to enhance the community's health services and develop the skills of postgraduate students enrolled in master's and doctoral programs. Furthermore, these laboratories are essential in supporting the community through the provision of precise diagnoses and efficient treatments for patients.

The spinal health laboratory's equipment provided a detailed explanation to His Highness, the President of the University of Sharjah, signifying a significant advancement in diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention. He gained knowledge about the 3D decompression device's mechanism, which relieves pressure on the vertebrae in three dimensions, aiding in the treatment of herniated discs and chronic back pain.

He also learnt about the balance measurement device, which assesses patients' functional balance levels and aids in designing appropriate treatment plans based on precise results, as well as the posture evaluation device, which offers a four-dimensional analysis of spinal alignment and helps diagnose deformities and correct improper postures.

His Highness also took a tour of the physiotherapy evaluation laboratory, a significant advancement in the assessment and treatment of various health conditions. The laboratory introduced him to its advanced equipment, including the transcranial magnetic stimulation device, which stimulates the brain to treat specific neurological and movement disorders.

He also investigated the cardiopulmonary exercise testing device, which assesses the heart and lungs' ability to withstand physical exertion, aiding in the creation of tailored treatment plans. Additionally, he studied the isokinetic dynamometer, a vital tool for sports injury rehabilitation that accurately assesses muscle strength and analyses physical performance.

The president of the University of Sharjah also familiarised himself with the integrated neuroscience unit laboratory, which features a variety of advanced technologies for measuring different biological indicators. These technologies play a crucial role in the precise evaluation of nerve and muscle functions. The purpose of these measurements is to formulate specialized treatment plans and create predictive models that identify suitable therapeutic strategies for different neurological disorders.

His Highness toured the College of Health Sciences' virtual reality laboratory for nursing skills.

This laboratory integrates virtual reality (VR) and advanced simulation technologies with high precision. These advanced tools signify a significant advancement in education, providing nursing students with the skills and confidence essential for success in real healthcare environments. Immersing themselves in realistic 3D simulations, nursing students use VR technology to experience patient care scenarios and enhance their critical thinking, decision-making, and teamwork skills.

His Highness received an overview of the laboratory's high-precision simulations, which employ life-like interactive models.

These simulations offer students the chance to engage in intricate clinical procedures within a secure and regulated setting, effectively connecting theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience.

These innovative educational tools play a crucial role in equipping students of the College of Health Sciences to tackle the challenges of the healthcare sector. They provide a secure and practical environment for students to develop their skills, guaranteeing their preparedness to deliver outstanding patient care.

The incorporation of virtual reality and simulation technologies highlights the College of Health Sciences' dedication at the University of Sharjah to achieving excellence in both education and healthcare. The statement highlights the college's embrace of innovative approaches and its role in influencing the future of nursing.

The university's strategy aligns with the contemporary laboratories, which offer exceptional therapeutic services to the community and create an engaging educational atmosphere with cutting-edge technologies for postgraduate students.

They highlight ongoing advancement in health and education, back scientific research, and provide creative solutions in the area of physiotherapy. Furthermore, these laboratories play a vital role in elevating the quality of healthcare services, equipping medical professionals to stay aligned with global advancements, and strengthening the University of Sharjah’s status as a premier institution in the field of physiotherapy.
