His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the promotion of 348 employees of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority. His Highness also approved the allocation of shift allowances for 450 employees of the Authority.
According to His Highness’s directives, the promotion of 348 employees—who have met the required promotion criteria—will incur an annual cost of AED 8.4 million. The initiative reflects His Highness’s continued support for the Authority’s workforce, motivating them to perform their duties efficiently and strengthening their role in protecting the environment and preserving biodiversity in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Furthermore, His Highness approved a monthly shift allowance of AED 1,500 for 450 employees working in shifts, with a total annual cost of AED 8.1 million. This directive recognises their ongoing efforts in safeguarding the environment and protected areas, and in enhancing environmental sustainability.
