His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an Emiri Decree on the establishment of the University Of Kalba (UOK).
The decree stipulates that a non-profit Arab academic scientific institution will be established in the Emirate of Sharjah called: University Of Kalba.
The university has the legal personality and the legal capacity necessary to achieve its goals and carry out its specializations, and it has financial and administrative independence.
The decree also stipulates that the University Of Kalba will be headed by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and a law will be issued to organize the University, its colleges, departments, management and all its affairs.
