Sharjah Ruler issues several Emiri decrees ordering promotion, transfer and appointment of heads of government departments

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued Emiri Decree appointing Chairman of the Housing Department (HD) .

The decree stipulated that His Excellency Engineer Khalid bin Butti Obaid Al Muhairi would be transferred from the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey to the Housing Department, and he would be appointed as Chairman of the department and a member of Sharjah Executive Council.

 

Also His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued Emiri Decree No. (63) of 2023 appointing Hamad Jumaa Al Shamsi as the new Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey (SDTPS).

Hamad Jumaa Al Shamsi will take on the role of Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey, simultaneously becoming a member of the Emirate's Executive Council. This appointment aligns with Sharjah's commitment to strengthen its administrative and leadership capabilities.

This decree is based on the legal framework provided by Law No. (2) of 1999, which established Sharjah's Executive Council, Law No. (2) of 1998, which created the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey, as well as Law No. (6) of 2015, governing human resources in Sharjah, and Executive Council Decision No. (32) of 2022, which pertains to the promotion and appointment of the Director of the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey.

The decree is effective immediately upon issuance and will be implemented by the relevant authorities. It will also be published in the official gazette.

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi issued this decree on Tuesday, 18 Rabi Al-Awwal 1445 AH, equivalent to October 3, 2023.

 

Also His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an Emiri Decree regarding the transfer, promotion and appointment of the Chairman of the Sharjah Fish Resources Authority (SFRA).

The decree stipulates that Ali Ahmed Ali Abu Ghazin be transferred from the Sharjah Municipality to the Sharjah Fish Resources Authority, and be promoted to the rank of head of a department in the Special Jobs System in the Sharjah Government, and appointed as Chairman of the Authority and a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, as of the date of issuance of this decree. 

Also His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued Emiri Decree promoting and appointing Chairman of the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD).

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued Emiri Decree promoting Hamad Ali Al Mahmoud and appointing him as Chairman of the Sharjah Economic Development Department. 

The decree stipulated that Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud will be promoted to the rank of Chairman of a Department in the Special Jobs System in the Sharjah Government, and will be appointed as Chairman of the Sharjah Economic Development Department and a member of Sharjah Executive Council.

 

Also His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an Emiri Decree regarding the promotion and appointment of the Chairman of the Labour Standards Development Authority (LSDA).

The decree stipulated that Sheikh Mohammed bin Saqr bin Hamad Al Qasimi be promoted to the rank of Head of a Department in the Special Jobs System in the Sharjah Government, and be appointed Chairman of the Labour Standards Development Authority in the Emirate of Sharjah.

 

Also His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an Emiri Decree promoting the Secretary General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah.

The decree stipulated that Asma Rashid Sultan bin Taliah, Secretary General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, be promoted to the rank of Head of a Department in the Special Jobs System in the Sharjah Government.

 

Also His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an Emiri Decree regarding the promotion of the Secretary General of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah.

The decree stipulated that Ahmed Saeed Ali Al Jarwan, Secretary-General of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, be promoted to the rank of Head of a Department in the Special Jobs System in the Sharjah Government.
