SGMB’s pavilion attracts visitors of the Global Media Congress

The pavilion of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB) participating in the activities of the Global Media Congress attracted visitors of the first media event of its kind in the region, which is organised by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company "ADNEC" in partnership with the Emirates News Agency "WAM" and held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center and running until 17th November with the aim of viewing the most prominent initiatives of SGMB in the media and government communication sectors.

Ahmed Afif, Vice President of the Republic of Seychelles visited SGMB's pavilion and was received by Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of SGMB, and Alia Al Suwaidi, Director of the SGMB. They reviewed the Sharjah media experience and the SGMB's future vision.

The pavilion was also visited by Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Bahraini Minister of Information Affairs, and he was briefed on the smart media platform that links the media and communication departments of the Sharjah government with the media sector. 

The programs of the departments of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau were reviewed, including the International Center for Government Communication, and its most prominent initiatives, including the International Government Communication Forum, the electronic news website "Sharjah 24", the Sharjah Press Club, the Government Communication Department, and the Sharjah Communication Center.

The visitors were briefed job shadowing programme adopted by SGMB  with the participation of a group of university professors and participants, which contributes to refining the skills of its affiliates and enhancing their capabilities.
