With less than three weeks to go for the inauguration of the fourth edition of Xposure International Photography Festival (Xposure 2019), a series of announcements about the upcoming Festival will be made on Monday, September 2, at a press conference by Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), organisers of the Festival.
In the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Media Council, the UAE’s media professionals will be informed why and how the upcoming edition of the Festival is splitting its exhibitions, talks, seminars and workshops under four themes, namely, ‘Xpose Adventure’, Xpose Emotions’, ‘Xpose Art’ and ‘Xpose Life’, this year.
The press conference will be a one-stop-shop to get key information about the offerings of this edition, as well as learn about the renowned photographers who will be flying in from around the world to be part of this Festival, considered MENA’s leading photo forum and educational platform for both professional and aspiring photographers and media artists. Details about the exhibitions – both indoor and outdoor, workshops, seminars, screenings, portfolio reviews, focus groups, competitions, , and more, to be delivered during the four-day Festival from September 19–22, will also be revealed.
The SGMB organising committee has invited media representatives, artists, and all those who are anticipating the fourth edition of Xposure to attend the press conference, which will be held at the Al Majaz Amphitheatre in Sharjah, starting 9am.
