His Excellency Dr. Mansour bin Nassar, Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) Elections, on Saturday unveiled the participation rate in the 2019 SCC elections, which hit 59.4% in total. As many as 26,600 voters visited the nine constituencies spread across the Emirate of Sharjah.
HE Dr. bin Nassar extended his sincere congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on the success of the Emirate’s electoral process, which has registered a record participation percentage. This reflects the keenness of the people of Sharjah to take part in decision making, in response to the call of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
