Al Majaz Amphitheatre in the Emirate of Sharjah hosted a memorable musical evening on Saturday as part of its new “Let’s Majaz” season, bringing together celebrated Arab stars Marwan Khoury and Adam for a night that drew a full house and an engaged audience.
Marwan Khoury Revives Memories
Renowned singer Marwan Khoury opened the evening with a selection of his most popular songs, taking the audience on a musical journey through the hits that have defined his successful career.
His performance included fan favourites, such as “Ya Rab” (Oh Lord), “Kel Sa’a” (Every Hour), “Mesh’Am T’rouhi” (You’re not Leaving), “Kel El Qassayed” (All the Poems), “Ba‘shaq Rouhak” (I Adore Your Soul), and a cover of the song “Sallimli ‘Alayh” (Say Hello to Him for Me).
Ahead of his performance, Khoury shared that he was pleased to perform at Al Majaz Amphitheatre for the first time.
“Every theatre has its own presence, but Al Majaz truly stands out with its architecture and ambience,” he said. “The venue’s unique design and artistic atmosphere create a different experience for the artist, which brings us closer to the audience.”
Adam lights up the stage
The evening continued with Adam, whose powerful voice and emotional delivery kept the atmosphere lively. He performed a mix of his well-known hits and newer releases, earning rousing applause throughout his set.
His performance featured a range of signature songs, such as “"Nehna Sawa" (We Are Together), "Keefak Enta" (How Are You?), "Albi Mertah" (My Heart Is At Ease), "Ensaan Tani" (Another Person), "Khalas El Damm" (The Tears Are Gone), "Ah Ya Helou" (Oh Sweet One), and "Hatha Ana" (This Is Me).
Adam expressed his gratitude for the warm reception at Al Majaz Amphitheatre and his excitement about returning to the stage for the second time. He praised the outstanding organisation and the vibrant atmosphere that made the evening unforgettable.
The concert forms part of the “Let’s Majaz” season, which continues to welcome some of the Arab world’s most prominent artists. This programme showcases Sharjah’s rich cultural identity and reinforces its standing as a destination that attracts diverse musical talent from across the region.
