Al Majaz Theatre in Sharjah hosted a captivating artistic evening on Saturday as part of the “Hala Bil Majaz” series, headlined by star Tamer Hosny and singer Maha Ftouni, drawing a strong public turnout.
Against the backdrop of the iconic open-air theatre overlooking Khalid Lake, audiences enjoyed a performance that blended modern musical styles with refined classical singing, in an atmosphere reflecting Sharjah’s cultural sophistication and high organisational standards.

Tamer Hosny expressed his great happiness at returning to Al Majaz Theatre, describing it as a venue with a special place in every artist’s heart. He praised Sharjah’s cultural and artistic development and its commitment to the arts in all forms. Recalling previous concerts in the emirate, he said the Sharjah audience always brings a unique and memorable energy.
Hosny performed a selection of his most popular songs, including Harmoun Al Saada, Eish Bishouqak, Helw El Makan, Hadallani and Moallemeen, alongside romantic favourites such as Ergaali, Kifayak A‘zar and Mayahrmnish Mennak. He concluded with upbeat house remixes that ignited the crowd’s enthusiasm.
Performance and distinction
Maha Ftouni praised the unique design of Al Majaz Theatre, noting that its open-air setting creates a sense of closeness between artist and audience. She also commended Sharjah’s warm and welcoming character.
Ftouni captivated the audience with her emotive voice, performing songs including Al Sabr Jameel, Nassam Alayna Al Hawa, Awal Hob, Ya Wahishni and Ma‘a Al Salama, alongside other well-received tracks that sustained strong audience interaction.
