SEC enhances mortgage services

In a deliberate drive to enhance efficiency and elevate service standards, the General Secretariat of Sharjah's Executive Council (SEC) has started the "Governmental Development" project.

Project goals include developing and improving high-priority services, with a spotlight on the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department's mortgage service.

The project's overarching objective is to improve the quality of government services by standardising and automating them.

Within the framework of this initiative, the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department has initiated an extensive development strategy. Using state-of-the-art technology, this strategy will automate and digitise services, making the process easier for Sharjah's investors and real estate developers.

The recent adoption of the mortgage service development plan is a significant achievement in this direction. This move was the result of months of consultation between multiple parties, including the the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey (SDTPS), Sharjah Digital Office, Sharjah Islamic Bank, and Emirates Islamic Bank.

This period of rapid technological advancement in the emirate coincides with the Governmental Development Project. Such further demonstrates Sharjah's dedication to utilising cutting-edge technology and creativity for the benefit of its citizens.

In the presence of Asmaa Rashid bin Taliah, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Sharjah, Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Quraidi, Director-General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, and Ahmed Hamad Al Suwaidi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Executive Council, the initial model and the mortgage service development plan were officially approved after fruitful discussions.
