The Local Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Sharjah has decided to activate the remote study system in all private schools and higher education institutions in the emirate, as well ashalting all sports activities and competitions organised by the Sharjah Sports Council, on Monday, February 12, due to the inclement weather conditions prevailing in the country.

The authorities stressed that the decision is aimed at maintaining the safety of students (both male and female), and sportspersons of various age groups associated with sports clubs. The move seeks to raise the state of alert and readiness to deal with the adverse weather conditions and provide vital services in the emirate.
