Sharjah Government Media Bureau is an independent body established to oversee the media and government communication requirements of Sharjah. Created under the direction, and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Bureau seeks to drive Sharjah’s media presence on the local, regional and international maps.

One of the core functionalities of Sharjah Government Media Bureau is to put in place the necessary strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the Emirate’s media entities, driven by responsibility, professionalism, creativity and the competitive edge.

In addition to Sharjah’s government entities, Sharjah Government Media Bureau coordinates with relevant federal agencies and organisations to exchange knowledge and expertise, and partner with international organisations to provide superior media services in line with international best practices.
